GHETTO HOCKEY

JULY 19 – VENTSPILS ICE HALL

BASIC RULES:

1.  Game duration: 10 minutes

2.  No body checking

3.  Fouls: Penalty shot

4.  After a goal:

     •  The puck is played by the team that conceded the goal.

     •  The team that scored must retreat at least 2 meters.

5.  No referees — the game is self-officiated.

6.  Team composition: 1 goalie and 4 players (at any time, 1 goalie and 3 players are on the ice).

7.  Rink: The game is played within the zone up to the blue line.

8.  Points:

     •  Win: 2 points

     •  Draw: 1 point

     •  Loss: 0 points

GROUPS:

•  U13 (2 x 4 teams)

•  U15 (2 x 4 teams)

•  U17 (2 x 4 teams)

•  Women (4 teams)

•  PRO (4 teams)
