Madars Apse, from Ventspils, is renowned worldwide as one of the best skateboarders. Madars' energy as a global citizen attracts high-class riders and spectators from different continents. Ventspils visitors will have the opportunity to see tricks from the skateboarders’ gourmet menu, which is always rich in breath-taking emotions.

Skateboards GGFEST'24

On 21 July 2024 at 11:00 Ventspils Skatepark will host the GGFEST GGSL'24

competitions in Beginner, Amateur, Girls and Pro-open groups.

Race management

The competition is organised by the Latvian Skateboard Federation in cooperation with Riga Skateboard School and Ghetto Games. The competition is judged by a panel of judges approved by the LSF.

11:00 to 11:30 Warm-up rides for beginners

11:30 to 12:15 Beginner group rides

12:15 to 12:40 warm-up rides for the girls' group

12:40 to 13:30 Girls' group

13:30 to 14:00 warm-up rides for amateur group

14:00 to 16:00 Amateur group races (qualy+finals)

16:30 to 17:00 Best trick; cash for tricks or high jump competition

17:00 to 18:30 Pro group warm-up

18:30 to 19:00 Pro group heats (qualy+finals)
